I know it can be a big decision to outsource some of your business processes and I'm so glad you choose to entrust your Bookkeeping to me. Here is some info on your receipt capture software options. Going forward if you can upload all business expense receipts/bills and in some cases even remittance advices, it will help me correctly allocate your transactions and also keep an electronic copy of things in case you’re ever audited.
Xero:
Xero comes with a free Hubdoc subscription which is used for receipt/bill capture.
If yours is not already setup, I will do this for you. Which means you will receive an invite to setup a login. Just download the app, login and start taking photos of your receipts and bills or forwarding emailed bills to the dedicated email address and they will flow through to Xero to help with allocation.

Quickbooks:
Once setup, just take photos of all your business transactions receipts using the Quickbooks App or forward emailed bills to the dedicated email address and it will flow through to Quickbooks to help with allocation.

What now? Going forward…
Please forward me all of your business bank account statements starting from the month before I begin working with you.
Then every month there after. This helps me reconcile and verify the transactions are correctly coming through to your Xero or Quickbooks file, nothing is being missed and the balance at the end of each month is accurate.
If your statements don’t come monthly or fall at the end of each month, just download a transaction listing which shows the account balance as at the end of each month.
All you need to worry about from now on is invoicing your customers, if applicable (unless you would like help with this, then let me know), sending your receipts and bills to either Hubdoc or Quickbooks Receipt capture and forwarding your bank statements to me.
